DVM graduated at the University of Milan, Francesca holds a PhD in Animal Feed and Food Safety.
Focus of her studies has been the evaluation of the effects of dietary supplementation of nutrients
on metabolism and performance of dairy ruminants. Topic that she adequately deepen during her
internship at UCDavis in the Tulare County, the leading milk production county in California, where
she had the privilege to work with with Dr. José Eduardo P. Santos.
On the other hand, Francesca’s professional career has been entirely dedicated to pets. Francesca
has worked for 10 years at Nestlé Purina managing several categories and roles within the areas of
Product Development, Regulatory and Compliance in the PetCare and PetFood Business. She joined
Lallemand in 2017 to develop and manage the full portfolio of natural microbial solutions dedicated
to pets health & wellbeing. Currently Global Pet Product Manager at Lallemand Animal Nutrition,
Francesca is fully aligned to the commitment of the company: the optimization of animal health and
wellbeing through specifically selected natural microbial solutions.
